Sponsored walk write up

Saturday November 15th seems a long time ago now, but we’ve only just finished collecting the sponsorship money together and planning how it’s going to be spent.

We started off on Glyndwr’s Way outside Llangunllo, and the weather was quite pleasant, although wet underfoot. The first half of the walk was quite a tough climb and by the time we reached half way, we were in need of a rest. Shortly after starting off again, the weather turned nasty and most of us got soaked during the remaining 4 miles of the route. When we finally reached Knighton, we decided to pop by the pub for some well-earned refreshment!

In total, we have raised approximately £700, some of which is to be set aside to purchase a projector for the group, while the rest will be used to subsidise trips, purchase some more equipment (perhaps a keyboard or electric guitar) and cover any financial costs (e.g. insurance).

    Hi Simon.

Glad another person might be interested in coming along to F.A.

With regards to the pictures, if you click on them, you should see a “popup” and the photo get enlarged - now right click on the enlarged photo and click “view image”. Then you can save it to your own computer, for using in your leaflet.

    Hope this helps,
    Dan
